Borina Nou Meas started her career with
Department of Children and Family Services on April 1992 as a Children Social Worker. She worked in providing child abuse investigation and services to the Asian Families living in Los Angeles County. After servicing the Asian Families for more than 10 years, she transferred to the Adoption Section where she worked with the general public for those families who wanted to adopt. She prepared the families for children who desperately needed loving families.
All throughout her career, Borina has been active with her community by advocating for services that are crucial for her families. She was a past President of the Los Angeles County, Cambodian Employees Association and continues to be active to this day. She has been a member of the Los Angeles County Asian Employees Association for many years.
Currently, she is a Supervising Children Social Worker in the Asian Pacific Program where she continues to service the Asian Families of Los Angeles County. She has a Bachelor of Science from California State University of Fullerton and a Masters of Science in Social Work from California State University of Long Beach. Additionally, she is working to obtain her
License in Clinical Social Work.
