The traditional Chinese Mid-Autumn Festival, also known as the Moon Festival, falls on October 3, 2009 this year, the fifteenth day of the eighth lunar month on the lunar calendar. Therefore, some members of LACAAEA enjoyed the moon cakes brought by Mary Lam, former Vice President of LACAAEA, at the Fish Fry festival in the earlier morning to celebrate this traditional festival that boasts a history of thousands of years.
