Los
Angeles, Nov. 8, 2007 -- The LACAAEA Fall Meet and Greet Reception honoring
four recently appointed Department Heads for the County of Los
Angles was held in the evening on Thursday, November 8, 2007 at
Ocean Star Seafood Restaurant in Monterey Park, California.
Approximately 260 active members, retirees and special guests
attended the event! What a night!
Sheila Shima, Deputy Chief Executive Officer, from the
Chief Executive Office
served as the mistress of ceremonies for the night. We would like to thank Sheila for maintaining the event pace and keeping
the program on track. She was witty, friendly and lent a very personal touch to the evening, and for that we are appreciative
of her time and effort.
The Meet and Greet is designed to allow our members to interact with colleagues, make new friends,
network with contacts and resources, and meet departmental managers outside the work arena. It is always a treat
to "Meet and Greet" with any department head, but especially with the leader of one's own department. We hope that you had the opportunity to meet your department head in this forum. We thank everyone in attendance for helping us to recognize the dedication, enthusiasm and hard work of these new County leaders. We are honored to welcome them into their respective positions.
Department heads and other special
guests also take their busy schedule to attend the "Meet and
Greet" Reception
to honor Steven J. Golightly, Jonathan E. Fielding, Gregg
Rademacher and Philip L. Browning. >> Full Story (Nine Photos)
